When I was asked to help put my store back together in our new location, I was so happy that I didn’t even care about how much work it was going to be. It was a grueling two weeks filled with sanding, cutting, painting, and finally, processing and stocking product. The paint stages were the messiest. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera the day that one of the warehouse guys painted my back, but I remembered to bring it the next day so I could capture my post-painting self.
I suppose I could have done something else and gotten messier, but I feel like the passion behind this mess is what you’re looking for. I didn’t even really do it on purpose - it just kinda happened - and I think that’s really the best part of getting messy; enjoying it because you like what you’re doing and you don’t really even notice how much of a mess you’re making.
