Why am I always cursed with having to deal with morons?

I need some serious de-stressing, though.

Like, ice cream, a long hot shower and a massage kind of de-stressing.

I can’t wait for my day off this week.

I dropped a board game on my foot and it cut me! Who puts games in plastic boxes anyway?!

I did a bar display today and our head merchandiser told me it was beautiful. I’m pretty proud of it.

My store looks so badass. I am so pumped to be working here again.

All you Toronto people should make a point of coming by for our Grand Reopening tomorrow!

But we got a bunch of stuff up on the shelves and it’s looking good!

Our Grand Reopening is Saturday, and well…you saw the state of the place from yesterday’s pictures, I’m sure…

Needless to say, there’s still a lot of work to be done, and since it’s Crunch Time, we’re stuck with having to do it all at once. Part C is happening even though we’re not yet done Parts A and B, which will eventually lead to more work, unfortunately, but what can ya do?

If we’re going to open on Saturday, there are going to have to be a lot of late nights this week… I mean, it’s barely begun and Ian and I have already put in a twelve-hour day!

But it will all be worth it to have the store back up and running again…

We have a few boxes of product at the store…

Sans the product being NOT on the shelves and the distinct lack of purple around (we still have some pelaming to do)…

HOWEVER, there are technically only four of us working at my store, and I’m already sick to death of two of them…

We need to hire some more people STAT.

Day Two at the store today!

I just remembered that I took a bunch of pictures before we started yesterday and forgot to post them when I got home last night. But I think I’ll wait until we’re done the renovations to put the pictures up. More of an impact that way!

Anyway, I’m off to get covered in paint!
